Tis the time of year when many couples are looking for their perfect wedding venue for next year. When you think of a wedding in Napa or Sonoma, you think of beautiful views, vineyards, gardens and utter romance. With hundreds of vineyards in both Napa and Sonoma, it can be tough to choose. Here are a few of our favorite vineyard wedding venues that might be the perfect spot for your dream wine country wedding!
- Chateau St. Jean
With stunning vineyard views, Chateau St. Jean is a top pick. Their expansive lawn is large enough to host large weddings, while smaller venues such as the Rose Garden is the perfect, intimate location to exchange vows for smaller weddings. Chateau St. Jean has always been a personal favorite of mine. Everywhere you look is true beauty.
2. BR Cohn Winery
BR Cohn’s amphitheater has one of the most stunning backdrops for wedding ceremonies. The property is soaked in olive and oak trees, making for amazing photo opportunities every way you look. Their open air pavilion is the perfect reception location with stunning views of the adjacent vineyards.
3. Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards
Gloria Ferrer is another of my favorite vineyards for weddings. The winery is up on a hill boasting some of the best views in all of wine country. Exchange vows under their arbor overlooking vineyards for as far as you can see. A sunset from their Vista Terrace will take your guests breath away! They have an utterly romantic wine cave for dinner, which is ideal to know you’ll be covered in case of any rain on your wedding day.
4. Landmark Vineyards
Landmark is a little hidden gem in wine country. With a capacity of 50 guests, it’s the perfect vineyard to plan your intimate wedding. It boasts vineyards, gardens and a picturesque pond. The beauty of this winery is naturally stunning and pictures rarely do it any justice. A major perk of Landmark is that they have a guest cottage and suite at the winery, so you can stay the entire weekend and enjoy!
5. Viansa Sonoma
Viansa is a little slice of Tuscany, right in the heart of Sonoma. Located on a hill top, you can see all of the Sonoma Valley from this venue. There are a few different ceremony locations available at the venue, allowing flexibility to find the perfect backdrop for your “I dos”. They offer indoor space for reception, which will keep your reception safe from any weather that might arise, making it a wonderful venue choice at anytime of year.
6. Kunde Family Winery
Last but certainly not least is Kunde. Kunde might be the most stunning vineyard venue in all of Napa and Sonoma. Yup, I said it! With 360 views everywhere you look, Boot Hill is something truly special. Nestled in the middle of their 1800 acres, you will experience true privacy at its finest. It’s hard to believe views like this even exist in real life. It’s something straight from a romantic movie. It’s worth checking out, but be sure to schedule a site visit in advance, as Boot Hill is not accessible to the general public.
I hope this helps you to find the perfect vineyard wedding venue for your dream wedding in Napa or Sonoma!
